Questions about this item

Do I need the original Trimble BC-65 charger to use this 7.2V 3500mAh battery?

This replacement pack fits the M3 and S8 models that originally used the BC-65 part number, so your existing charger for those instruments will charge it.

Will the 166.5 x 61.9 x 24.26 mm pack sit securely in the battery compartment of my older Trimble M3?

The dimensions match the original BC-65 form factor, so it seats in the M3 and S8 compartments without gaps or forcing.

How can I confirm the 25.2 Wh pack is delivering full capacity after the first charge cycle?

Run the instrument until low-battery warning; a healthy 3500 mAh cell should provide runtime comparable to the original when new.
