Stable extrusion during long prints

Tight diameter tolerance and consistent winding prevent tangles that cause mid-print failures. The filament melts evenly between 190 and 230 °C with a recommended nozzle temperature of 215 °C, reducing the risk of nozzle clogs over multi-hour builds. Good layer bonding and low warping keep dimensional accuracy steady from first layer to last. Printers without a heated chamber may still see edge lift on very large flat areas.

PLA temperature window and adhesion limits

The material prints reliably within the 190–230 °C range but softens well below the temperatures used for ABS or ASA, limiting high-heat applications. Build-plate adhesion improves on textured paper, PVP glue or PEI surfaces, yet the filament can still release on uncoated glass without adhesive aids. Moisture absorption in humid environments degrades print quality unless the spool is resealed with desiccant. The paper spool itself is not designed for high-temperature drying cycles.
