Spoolless coil demands a holder

The 1 kg coil arrives vacuum-sealed with desiccant and no integrated reel, so it must sit on a separate holder such as the Bambu Lab spool or the upcoming eSUN unit. Consistent 1.75 mm tolerance and tight winding prevent tangles and nozzle clogs during long prints. Stable dimensional control reduces warping and stringing for reliable first-layer adhesion on textured paper, PVP glue or PEI sheets.

PLA temperature window limits high-heat parts

Extrusion runs between 190 and 230 °C with a recommended 215 °C, so the material cannot withstand sustained heat or mechanical loads that exceed standard PLA properties. Printed parts will soften well below the temperatures handled by ABS, ASA or polycarbonate. Users needing functional prototypes for hot environments should choose a different polymer.
