Product Identity

The ET2 Contemporary Lighting Abyss pendant is a single-light decorative fixture finished in matte white. It measures 12.5 inches wide and suits residential interiors seeking a distinctive ceiling light. The cone-shaped shade creates a unique perimeter glow that defines its visual character.

Installation Notes

The fixture mounts to a standard ceiling junction box using the included hardware. Electrical connections follow conventional wiring practice for hard-wired pendants. The cone geometry requires careful alignment during mounting so the bottom perimeter illuminates evenly and the abyss effect appears symmetrical from below.

Lighting Capacity

The single-lamp design provides focused ambient illumination suited to dining tables, kitchen islands or hallway runs. Light output depends entirely on the chosen bulb, which is not supplied. The perimeter-only emission leaves the centre dark, so the pendant does not deliver broad downlight coverage for task-heavy surfaces.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the bottom-perimeter illumination is creating the abyss effect after installation?

Turn the pendant on and view it from below; the inner cone should appear dark while a ring of light runs along the bottom edge.

What components are included with the E20084-MW and what must be purchased separately?

The pendant ships with the matte-white cone shade and mounting hardware; bulbs are not included and must be bought separately.

Should I choose the Matte White or Matte Black finish for a brighter abyss contrast?

Matte White reflects more ambient light, making the dark interior appear deeper, while Matte Black absorbs light for a subtler effect.
