Dianne 1-Light 7.5" Pendant

The Maxim Mfg. Dianne pendant provides a single-light fixture with a 7.5 inch width in an oil rubbed bronze finish. It suits dining areas, hallways or kitchen islands where a focused decorative light is required. The unit is supplied new and carries the manufacturer model reference 10091.

Replacing older single pendants

Swapping an existing single pendant for this model is worthwhile when the current shade is damaged, the finish has faded or the mounting hardware no longer matches the room hardware. The 7.5 inch scale fits the same canopy footprint as many older units, so the change involves only the fixture itself. Buyers who need multi-light output or a larger diameter should look elsewhere.

Build integration details

The pendant mounts to a standard ceiling junction box and accepts one medium-base bulb, freeing the circuit from the higher loads of multi-lamp chandeliers. Its oil rubbed bronze tone coordinates with matching hardware and plumbing fixtures without requiring a full lighting suite replacement. The product carries a California Proposition 65 notice for chemical exposure.

Questions about this item

What ceiling box depth does the 7.5" wide Dianne pendant require for mounting?

The fixture mounts to a standard ceiling junction box; ensure the box is rated for the fixture weight and allows the canopy to sit flush.

Which step is often missed when wiring the 10091HMOI pendant during installation?

Connecting the fixture ground wire to the ceiling box ground screw is frequently overlooked; secure it before attaching the canopy.

How should the oil-rubbed bronze finish on the Dianne pendant be maintained over time?

Dust with a soft dry cloth; avoid chemical cleaners that can strip the hand-applied patina.
