Wireless High Voltage Phase Detector 10V-500kV

The ETCR 1500 detects phase angle, sequence and voltage presence on live conductors from 10 V up to 500 kV. It operates at distances up to 200 m, making it suitable for substation and overhead-line work. The unit covers a frequency range of 45.0 Hz to 65.0 Hz.

Contact and non-contact detection modes

For circuits at or below 35 kV the instrument uses direct contact probing. Above 35 kV the non-contact method is required, allowing the probe to approach the conductor without metallic connection. Both modes share the same 0° to 360° phase measurement range.

200 m wireless operating distance

Phase detection is performed wirelessly between the host and detector up to 200 m apart. The host runs on a 3.7 V 2600 mAh rechargeable lithium battery and the detector on a 3.7 V 600 mAh rechargeable lithium battery. This range determines whether the tool can span the required switchgear or line separation.
