Clamp earth resistance tester measures 0.01 to 1200 Ω with a 32 mm jaw for loop systems without auxiliary electrodes
The ETCR 2100+ is a clamp-type earth resistance tester designed for electricians and field engineers who need to verify grounding systems without disconnecting leads or driving auxiliary electrodes. It measures loop resistance from 0.01 to 1200 Ω and accepts conductors up to 32 mm in diameter. The instrument is supplied new in a single box and includes a three-year parts and one-year labor warranty.
Suited for technicians maintaining power, telecom, meteorological, oilfield, construction or industrial electrical installations where a live loop is present and speed matters. Not suited for users who need to measure isolated earth electrodes without a return path, or for anyone requiring an English-language manual in the box — the supplier notes that only a non-English manual is included and batteries are not supplied.
The decisive specification is the 0.01–1200 Ω measurement range combined with a 32 mm jaw opening, which together define the tester’s ability to clamp onto typical grounding conductors and read low-value loop resistance in a single step.

The 2100+ model comes with a fixed 32 mm clamp opening, so there is no alternative jaw size to choose from.
It means the tester can resolve down to one-hundredth of an ohm and measure up to twelve hundred ohms, covering most grounding-system checks without auxiliary electrodes.
The 32 mm clamp caps the maximum conductor diameter you can encircle, so cables or earth leads thicker than that cannot be measured directly.
