The ETCR 4000 is a handheld test instrument that measures AC voltage up to 500 V and AC current up to 10 A without breaking the circuit. Its dual clamps capture the phase angle between any two voltages, two currents or a voltage and a current across a full 360° range. The meter also derives power factor and power values from those readings. A compact F8 mm clamp aperture fits typical conductor sizes.

Three-phase and protection technicians

Electricians verifying transformer winding groups, CT polarity in differential schemes or energy-meter wiring will find the phase-sequence and angle functions directly applicable. The tool is not suited for DC systems, for conductors larger than the 8 mm jaw opening or for applications requiring continuous data logging or PC connectivity.
