Measures AC/DC leakage current from 0 mA to 60.0 A with 1 mA resolution, stores 99 readings and fits conductors up to 25 mm × 30 mm
The ETCR 6200 clamp meter measures both AC and DC leakage current from 0mA to 60.0A without breaking the circuit. It uses a 25mm by 30mm CT jaw for non-contact readings on conductors carrying up to 600V line voltage. Resolution is 1mA with a stated accuracy of ±2%rdg±5dgt. The meter stores up to 99 measurement groups for later review.
Technicians troubleshooting vehicle dark current, parasitic drain, starter motor draw or alternator charging current will find the range and jaw size practical. The tool is not suited for work on conductors larger than the 25mm by 30mm aperture or for installations exceeding 600V line voltage. Users needing higher current ranges or smaller jaw profiles should consider other instruments.
The single specification that decides fit is the 0mA to 60.0A AC/DC measurement span. If the expected leakage or load current stays within this window the 6200 covers the task; if peaks exceed 60.0A a higher-range meter is required.

The CT jaw opening measures 25mm by 30mm, allowing non-contact measurement on conductors up to that cross-section without disconnecting the circuit.
Press the data-hold button after the value stabilises; the meter saves up to 99 groups, but users often press the button before the reading settles, recording a transient figure.
Recalibrate annually or after heavy use to maintain the ±2%rdg±5dgt accuracy; replace the internal batteries when the low-battery indicator appears on the display.
