Measures AC current from .0 mA to 1200 A on lines up to 60 kV insulated or 35 kV bare using a 48 mm clamp with 99-group data storage
The ETCR 9000 measures AC current from 0.0mA to 1200A on both high-voltage and low-voltage conductors. With the insulation rod attached it reads insulated cables up to 60kV and bare wires up to 35kV. Without the rod it functions as a high-accuracy low-voltage clamp meter. The 48mm CT aperture accepts a wide range of cable sizes.
The instrument combines a special clamp head with a 5m high-voltage insulation rod for safe remote measurement above 600V. Peak hold and data hold capture transient and steady readings during live-line work. The clamp mechanism opens and closes by pushing or pulling the rod, allowing single-person attachment and removal without direct contact.
Ninety-nine data groups can be stored internally, letting technicians log multiple measurement points before downloading. The red handheld unit ships in a single box with a three-year parts and one-year labor coverage period. No wireless interface or PC software is mentioned, so recorded values are reviewed on the meter itself.

Connect the clamp to the supplied insulation rod before measuring lines above 600 V; the rod must be attached before clamping the conductor.
The clamp unit itself has no user-replaceable parts; periodic calibration checks are the only scheduled service.
The 1 200 A measurement ceiling is reached before any thermal or time restriction.
