Measures AC and leakage current from 0.00 mA to 300.0 A with a 35 mm × 40 mm clamp, stores 99 readings, and includes RS232 output for PC analysis
The ETCR6500 is a clamp leakage current meter built for electricians who need to measure AC current and leakage current on live conductors without breaking the circuit. It covers a range from 0.00 mA up to 300.0 A with a resolution of 10 uA and operates on lines up to 600 V. The 35 mm by 40 mm CT opening fits standard cables and busbars for non-contact measurement.
At 184 mm by 70 mm by 37 mm and 250 g the meter sits comfortably in a pouch or on a belt for daily safety inspections and maintenance work. It stores up to 99 groups of readings internally and includes an RS232 interface so saved data can be uploaded to a computer for analysis, record keeping and printing without manual transcription.
The iron core uses magnetic shielding technology that keeps measurements almost unaffected by external magnetic fields, giving reliable results on small leakage currents in noisy environments. Peak hold captures transient spikes while data hold freezes the display for easy notation. The instrument is designed for stable performance during extended use on site.

The meter is rated for line voltages below 600V AC during measurement.
The handheld clamp meter has no fan or active cooling, so it runs silently and produces negligible heat during extended operation.
You need a computer with an RS232 serial port or a compatible USB-to-RS232 adapter and the appropriate cable to upload the 99 data groups.
