What this cable is

The etguuds Samsung Gala is a USB-C to USB-C cable sold as a two-pack, each measuring 4 ft and rated for 60 W power delivery with a 5 V / 3 A output. It is built with a nylon-braided jacket rated for 20 000 plus bend cycles. The blue cords terminate in male-to-male connectors for charging and data between USB-C devices.

Who it suits and who it does not

Buyers needing a spare or replacement cable for phones, tablets or laptops that charge over USB-C will find the length and 60 W rating convenient. Users whose devices demand more than 60 W or who require a USB-A connector on one end should look at a different cable.

Deciding specification

The single figure that determines fit is the 60 W maximum power output; if the charger and device both support this level the cable will deliver full speed, otherwise charging will be limited to the lowest common rating.
