Ethereal MHZ HDMI Cable 5.0 m 16.4 ft

This Ethereal MHZ HDMI cable is a 5.0 metre active high-speed lead designed to carry 4K 60 video with ARC and Ethernet support. Its ultra-slim profile suits clean routing behind displays or through trunking. The CL and FT4 ratings confirm compliance for in-wall installation. It connects source devices to screens or AV receivers over longer runs.

Home cinema and AV installs needing 4K 60 with ARC

Installers running cables through walls or ceilings gain the required fire ratings and slender form factor. Users needing 8K bandwidth or higher frame rates at 4K should look elsewhere. Buyers wanting a passive copper cable for short desk connections do not need this active design. The cable serves fixed installations where length and rating matter.

10.2 Gbps bandwidth for 4K 60 4:2:0

The 10.2 Gbps specification defines the maximum video throughput this cable guarantees. It delivers 4K at 60 Hz with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling plus ARC and Ethernet channels. Systems requiring greater bandwidth for 4K 4:4:4 or 8K signals cannot use this link. Verify the source and display requirements match this ceiling before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will this 5.0 m active HDMI cable handshake reliably with a 10-year-old AV receiver that only supports HDMI 1.4?

Yes, the cable carries the 10.2 Gbps high-speed signal required for 4K at 60 Hz and is backward compatible with earlier HDMI versions, so an HDMI 1.4 receiver will negotiate the highest common rate automatically.

How can I confirm the ARC channel is actually passing audio from my TV to the soundbar after I connect the cable?

Play TV audio, enable ARC in the TV settings, and verify sound comes from the soundbar; the cable’s ARC support carries the return audio without a separate optical lead.

Does the box include any mounting clips or cable ties for the 16.4 ft run, or must I buy them separately?

Only the active HDMI cable itself is included; mounting clips, ties or conduit are not supplied and must be purchased separately.
