Smart lock with fingerprint access

The eufy Smart Lock C33 in Nickel finish replaces a standard deadbolt with a lever handle that reads fingerprints in the grip. It stores up to 50 fingerprints and 100 passcodes for household members and guests. Integrated Wi-Fi connects directly to the home network without a separate bridge. The lock suits wood or metal doors with a 2 1/8 in bore hole and 1 3/8 in to 2 1/6 in thickness.

Battery life and wireless operation

A supplied battery powers the lock for up to 12 months before recharging. Wi-Fi remains active for remote lock and unlock commands, real-time notifications and event history through the eufy Security app. The mechanism produces a slight internal sound during operation, a normal characteristic that does not affect security. IP53 rating protects against dust and spraying water.

Compatibility limited to eufy ecosystem

The lock works with eufy Video Doorbells and eufy Security Cameras for linked automations. It does not support Apple HomeKit, IFTTT or Matter protocols. NFC unlocking functions only with the encrypted cards officially provided by eufy. Installation requires no drilling and completes in roughly 15 minutes on left- or right-hand doors.

Questions about this item

How do I install the C33 on my existing door without drilling new holes?

The lock fits standard bore holes of 2 1/8 inch diameter with a 2 3/8 or 2 3/4 inch backset and door thickness of 1 3/8 to 2 1/6 inches. The step people miss is verifying the backset before removing the old hardware.

What battery replacement schedule should I expect for the C33?

The included battery is rated for up to 12 months of operation. After that period you will need to recharge or replace the pack to keep the lock functioning.

At what point does the fingerprint reader stop accepting new entries on the C33?

The reader stores a maximum of 50 fingerprints. Once that limit is reached you must delete an existing print before adding another.
