Premium UniFi Doorbell with PoE

The Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell Pro PoE Kit is a smart doorbell designed for UniFi Protect ecosystems. It targets homeowners and installers who want a single-cable installation that delivers both power and data. The integrated PoE chime enables plug-and-play operation without separate wiring or transformers.

Capacity and headroom

The kit includes a primary doorbell camera and a secondary package-detection camera that expands the field of view for deliveries. Improved HDR and low-light performance maintain usable footage after dark. AI event detections filter motion alerts so the system only notifies on relevant activity. Without a UniFi Protect console the cameras cannot record or analyse events.

Build quality and connectors

Weather-resistant construction suits covered outdoor mounting such as porches or entryways. A single Ethernet cable carries power and video, simplifying retrofit installs and eliminating the need for a nearby mains socket. Integrated two-way audio lets occupants speak to visitors directly from the Protect app. The PoE chime plugs into any indoor PoE port for audible alerts throughout the home.

Questions about this item

Will the integrated PoE chime replace my existing mechanical chime without extra wiring?

Yes, the kit includes a PoE chime that connects over the same Ethernet cable, so no separate transformer or chime wiring is needed.

How can I confirm the secondary package-detection camera is active after mounting?

In the UniFi Protect app, enable package detection and watch for a distinct package alert when a parcel appears in the lower camera view.

Does the box contain the PoE injector or only the doorbell and chime?

The kit supplies the doorbell and PoE chime; a PoE injector or PoE switch must be purchased separately to power the Ethernet run.
