Evans Glass 500 Snare Side Head
The Evans Glass 500 snare side head is a 14 inch drum accessory designed for players who want a dry, dark, throaty tone. It suits deep snare drums and heavy rock performances where focused articulation matters. The head weighs .6 and installs like a standard resonant head.
Thin glass construction and dry response
The glass film construction delivers a thin, responsive surface that darkens the drum voice and shortens sustain. This character works well for deep shells and loud stages but does not suit buyers who want a bright, open ring or extended resonance for jazz or orchestral settings.
