Built for the Outdoors

The Ever Ready First Aid Military Wool Blanket is a 95 percent wool cover sized at 96 by 96 inches and weighing 6.65 lbs. It is made for campers, travellers and anyone assembling a bushcraft or emergency kit who needs reliable warmth in a single layer.

Fits Gear and Vehicles

The blanket folds down to a compact profile that slides into a car boot, a roof box or a large rucksack without dominating the space. Its machine-washable finish means it can be cleaned after muddy trips without special detergents, freeing you from hand-washing chores in the field.

Holds Heat When Wet

Wool retains its insulating ability even when damp, so the blanket continues to protect against wind-chill during prolonged rain or snow exposure. The triple-washed fibres soften with each cycle, improving next-to-skin comfort over repeated multi-day use.

Questions about this item

How does the 95% wool content perform when the blanket stays wet for hours?

Wool insulates even when damp, so the 95% wool blend keeps you warm in prolonged wet conditions.

Does the 6.65 lb weight make the blanket too hot for all-day use in a vehicle?

The heavy wool regulates temperature naturally, preventing overheating during extended wear or travel.

Will a standard home washing machine handle the 96x96 inch size after muddy field use?

Yes, the blanket is machine washable and softens with each cycle, fitting most household washers.
