16″ QHD+ 300Hz gaming laptop

The Evoc V3601A pairs a 16-inch 2560x1600 panel at 300 Hz with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus 24-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics with 8 GB GDDR7. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 5600 MHz memory and 16 TB of PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe storage complete a system built for high-refresh competitive play and heavy multitasking. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed.

Sustained-load behaviour

Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound on the CPU and GPU lowers peak temperatures during extended sessions, allowing the 5.5 GHz max turbo frequency to hold longer without throttling. HIDevolution burn-in stress testing verifies thermal stability before the unit leaves the facility. FlexiCharger and Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology further balance power draw across long workloads.

Upgrade perspective

This configuration replaces a mid-range gaming notebook or an older desktop-replacement laptop when the user needs 64 GB RAM, 16 TB fast storage and a 300 Hz QHD+ display in a single chassis. The jump is worth it for creators and competitive players who hit memory or storage limits on 32 GB or 1 TB machines and require the higher refresh panel for motion clarity.

Questions about this item

How hot or loud does the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus get during all-day loads with the Gelid GC Extreme TIM applied?

The Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material is applied to both the CPU and GPU to improve heat transfer and keep system temperatures lower under sustained workloads.

Which external display connectors does the RTX 5050 with 8 GB GDDR7 provide for my existing monitors?

The laptop includes an HDMI 2.1 port, a Mini DisplayPort 1.4 output and a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode for driving external screens.

Will my current PCIe 3.0 NVMe drives work in the spare M.2 slots alongside the factory 16 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD?

Both M.2 slots support PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe and are backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 drives, so older SSDs will function at their rated speeds.
