Built for high-end gaming and content creation

The Evoc X5802A is an 18-inch laptop powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus 24-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16 GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 64 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory in dual-channel configuration, and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD. The chassis uses a metal top, palm rest and bottom case finished in black.

18-inch QHD+ 240 Hz panel defines the visual

The display measures 18 inches diagonally with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. This combination delivers sharp detail and smooth motion for competitive gaming and colour-critical creative work. The high refresh rate is driven directly by the RTX 5080 GPU without external adapters.

Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound lowers core

HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme on the CPU and GPU to improve heat transfer from the Arrow Lake processor and the RTX 5080. The system uses Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology and a FlexiCharger power adapter to balance performance, acoustics and power draw during sustained loads. The 0.98-inch profile and 7.25 lb weight reflect the cooling capacity required for 5.5 GHz turbo operation.

Questions about this item

How does the 5.5 GHz turbo frequency behave once the 24-core Ultra 9-290HX Plus is inside the 18" chassis?

The processor can reach 5.5 GHz turbo on Arrow Lake cores while Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound on CPU and GPU helps sustain higher clocks under load.

What does the PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe interface cap for the 1 TB SSD in real use?

The drive runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe speeds, so sequential reads and writes peak at the interface limit rather than the older 3.0 ceiling.

Will the 15.59 x 10.95 x 0.98 inch metal chassis fit a standard 18" laptop sleeve?

At 15.59" wide, 10.95" deep and 0.98" thick, it matches typical 18" sleeve internal dimensions; verify your sleeve's exact max measurements before buying.
