Single-Handed Dispenser

The Excell Handy-Wrap dispenser is a lightweight plastic tool designed for one-handed operation. It accepts stretch film on 1-1/2 inch cores up to 4 inches wide. The ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue during repetitive wrapping tasks. Film is not included with the dispenser.

Capacity and Headroom

The dispenser handles rolls up to 4 inches wide, covering standard bundling and palletising needs. It runs out of capacity when film exceeds that width or uses a different core size. The simple mechanism offers no powered assist for very heavy or continuous industrial loads. Users must supply compatible film separately.

Manual Tension Control

Tension is governed entirely by the operator's grip, giving direct feedback but requiring consistent technique. Uneven pressure can cause film breaks or loose wraps that compromise load stability. The plastic construction suits occasional to moderate daily use in shipping, moving or storage environments. It does not suit high-volume automated lines.

Questions about this item

Will the Excell SF-38531 dispenser accept the 4-inch stretch film rolls I already use?

Yes, this dispenser holds stretch wrap film up to 4 inches wide on 1-1/2 inch cores, matching standard roll sizes for palletizing and bundling tasks.

How can I confirm the dispenser is tensioning film correctly during my first wrap?

The ergonomic design gives you direct hand control over tension; you will feel consistent resistance and see tight, even layers without slack or tearing when it is working properly.

Does the blue Handy-Wrap 38531 come with a roll of stretch film, or must I buy it separately?

Wrap film is not included; the package contains only the high-impact plastic dispenser, so you will need to purchase compatible stretch wrap rolls separately.
