Explus-C 2-in-3-out HDMI KVM Switch

The Explus-C KVM switch connects two computers to three HDMI monitors, a shared keyboard and mouse, plus four USB 3.0 peripherals. It handles 4K resolution at 60 Hz and offers both copy and extended display modes. A front-panel button and a 1.5 metre wired remote provide instant switching between the two connected systems.

Ideal for dual-PC workstations needing

Professionals who run two towers and want a single three-screen desktop will benefit from the copy and extended modes. Users whose graphics cards lack three HDMI outputs cannot use the extended mode. Buyers requiring hotkey switching or more than two computer inputs should consider a different KVM model.

Requires three HDMI outputs per computer

The specification that decides compatibility is the graphics-card requirement: each connected PC must provide three HDMI outputs and support multi-monitor operation to drive all three screens in extended mode. Without that hardware, only copy mode across the monitors is possible.

Questions about this item

What does the 4K@60Hz rating mean when I connect three monitors to two computers?

The switch passes a 4K signal at 60 Hz to each of the three displays, provided every connected computer has a graphics card with three HDMI outputs and supports multi-monitor operation.

Which video interface does the switch use and what resolution ceiling does it enforce?

It uses HDMI for both the two inputs and three outputs, capping the signal at 4K resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate.

How much desk space and cable reach do I need for the external switching button?

The wired remote is 1.5 metres (4.9 ft) long, so you can place the main unit out of sight while keeping the button within easy reach.
