Two-computer DisplayPort 1.4 KVM switch shares one monitor at up to 8K 60 Hz and four USB 3.0 peripherals, with two 8K cables included
This DP 1.4 KVM switch lets two computers share one monitor and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It provides 3 USB-A and 1 USB-C ports for keyboards, mice, drives and printers. Two USB-A to USB-C cables must be connected for power and data transfer. The unit includes two 8K DisplayPort cables.
Ideal for users who need to toggle between two computers on a single screen while keeping USB devices connected. Not suited for anyone requiring USB-C video input or more than two host connections. Buyers who want a pure USB-C KVM or additional video ports should look elsewhere.
Maximum resolution is 8K at 60 Hz with backward compatibility for 4K at 240 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz, 4K at 60 Hz, 2560x1440 at 60 Hz and 1080p. Achieving 8K 60 Hz requires both computers and the monitor to support 8K plus genuine 8K DP 1.4 cables.

The switch passes DisplayPort 1.4 signals up to 8K at 60 Hz and lower rates such as 4K at 240 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz, 2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz and 1080p, provided both computers and the monitor support the chosen mode and genuine 8K DP cables are used.
The device draws power from the two included USB-A-to-C cables and has no fan; it runs silently and stays cool to the touch during continuous operation.
Each computer needs a DisplayPort 1.4 output and the monitor needs a DisplayPort 1.4 input; the box supplies two 8K-rated DP cables and two USB-A-to-C cables for power and data, so no extra video cables are required.
