Switches two computers between dual DisplayPort monitors at up to 3840×2160@144Hz and shares four USB 3.0 peripherals
The Explus-C switch lets two computers share a pair of DisplayPort monitors and four USB peripherals. Each system must provide two DP outputs, with the matching DP A and DP B cables connected to the same machine. Switching between the two sources is handled by the included desktop controller.
Professionals who run two displays across two computers gain instant switching without unplugging cables. The unit also supports copy mode for mirroring the same image on both screens. Builders whose laptops or small-form-factor desktops only offer one DisplayPort output cannot drive both monitors through this switch.
The hub provides four downstream USB 3.0 ports that operate at up to 5 Gbps, ten times the throughput of USB 2.0. They remain backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices such as keyboards, mice and printers. Video bandwidth reaches 48 Gbps, but DisplayPort cables are not included and must be sourced separately.
