Share two computers across dual monitors at 3840×2160@60Hz with four USB 3.0 ports
The Explus-C KVM switch connects two computers to two monitors through dedicated DisplayPort and HDMI paths. Each system must provide both a DP and an HDMI output, and the corresponding ports on the switch must be paired to the same machine. The unit shares a single keyboard, mouse and up to four USB 3.0 peripherals between the two hosts.
The switch draws power from the attached computers through the USB 3.0 upstream links and adds no active cooling. No fan noise is produced and no external power adapter is required. USB 3.0 ports remain backward compatible with 2.0 and 1.1 devices, but the upstream USB 3.0 cables must be connected correctly or downstream devices will not enumerate.
Video throughput is rated at 3840×2160 at 60 Hz per display when both the source and the sink support that timing and certified 4K60 cables are used. The switch performs no format conversion, so a DisplayPort input exits only on the DisplayPort output and an HDMI input exits only on the HDMI output. Extended and copy desktop modes are maintained continuously during long sessions.

Connect the DisplayPort and HDMI cables from computer one to the KVM ports labelled DP A and HDMI B, then connect computer two to the remaining DP and HDMI inputs; each computer must provide both a DP and an HDMI output.
The four USB 3.0 ports share keyboards, mice, printers, scanners and similar peripherals, and they remain backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices.
The switch passes 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz provided the source, the display and the cables are all rated for 4K at 60 Hz.
