Extends 4K 60 Hz HDMI, USB 1.1 keyboard and mouse control, and stereo audio up to 70 metres over CAT6/7 cable with zero latency and HDMI loop-out
The Explus-C KVM Switch extends HDMI 2.0b signals up to 70 metres over a single CAT6 or CAT7 cable. It delivers 4K at 60 Hz with zero latency and full HDCP 2.2 compliance. Two USB 1.1 ports on the receiver let you control the source computer remotely with a keyboard and mouse. A local HDMI loop-out on the transmitter keeps a display at the source.
Standard copper HDMI cables lose signal integrity past about 10 metres, forcing shorter layouts or active boosters. This extender uses inexpensive LAN cable to bridge 70 metres without compression or added lag. The jump is worth it when the source and display must sit in separate rooms or racks and you need 4K 60 Hz with HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision or HLG pass-through.
The HDMI 2.0b link caps video at 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4, so 8K or higher refresh rates at 4K are not supported. USB 1.1 provides only low-speed bandwidth, so keyboards and mice work but storage devices, webcams or other high-speed peripherals will not. Audio extraction is limited to the 3.5 mm stereo analogue output on the receiver.

The extender supports up to 70 metres or 230 feet over a single CAT6 or CAT7 cable between the sender and receiver units.
Plug the keyboard and mouse into the two USB 1.1 ports on the receiver; the transmitter sends the USB 1.1 signals back to the source over the same CAT6/7 link.
Replace either 5 V adapter if the unit loses video, USB control or audio extraction while the CAT6/7 cable remains intact and firmly seated.
