Dual-monitor KVM for two computers

This HDMI KVM switch connects two computers to a shared pair of monitors, keyboard and mouse. It suits home-office users and small-studio operators who need to toggle between a work laptop and a desktop or a console such as a PS4 without re-plugging cables. The unit supports Windows 7 through 11, Vista, XP, Linux and Mac systems.

Steady 4K60 output with HDCP 2.2

The switch maintains a stable 4K signal at 60 Hz during long sessions and also handles 4K at 30 Hz, 2K and 3D formats. HDCP 2.2 compliance means protected streaming content plays without handshake drops when you change the active computer. EDID adaptive logic keeps each display recognised after every switch.

Three USB 3.0 ports and wired remote

Three USB 3.0 ports provide up to 5 Gbps bandwidth for shared printers, scanners or external drives alongside the keyboard and mouse. Automatic device detection matches peripherals on both computers without driver installs. A supplied controller button lets you change the active system from your desk without reaching behind the hardware.

Questions about this item

Does the Explus-C KVM switch generate much heat or fan noise when running two 4K@60Hz displays all day?

The unit is passively cooled with no fan, so it runs silently and produces only mild warmth during continuous dual-monitor operation.

Which cables and peripherals must I already own to connect two computers and two monitors to this switch?

You need two HDMI cables for the monitors, two USB 3.0 cables (type-A to type-B) for the computer links, plus your own keyboard, mouse and any USB 3.0 devices you want to share.

Will my older 1080p@60Hz monitor work alongside a new 4K@60Hz screen on this Explus-C KVM?

Yes — the switch supports 4K@60Hz, 4K@30Hz, 2K and 1080p simultaneously, so a legacy 1080p monitor and a 4K display can be used together without scaling issues.
