Shares four USB devices between two USB-C computers at 10 Gbps with a remote button
This Explus-C USB-C switch lets two USB-C equipped computers share four USB peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, headset and external drive. It uses USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports rated at 10Gbps so file transfers of 1 GB complete in about 1.5 seconds. The unit is powered from the host computers and supplies up to 2.4A for connected devices. A remote button is included for instant switching without reaching behind the desk.
Users who keep a work laptop and a personal machine side by side and want one set of USB accessories will benefit from the simple plug-and-play operation. Buyers who require video switching or true KVM functionality with monitor sharing should look at a dedicated KVM switch instead. The device does not support display outputs and cannot replace a multi-port docking station that provides video, Ethernet or charging.
The switch provides one USB-C and three USB-A ports all running at 10Gbps for high-speed storage, webcams and audio interfaces. Total downstream current is capped at 2.4A, dropping to 1.8A when a host is connected through a USB-A port. Very high-draw devices or large bus-powered RAID arrays may exceed the available power, so a powered hub is advisable for those workloads.

The switch includes two USB-C to USB-C data cables for connecting the two host computers.
The four ports are USB 3.2 Gen 2 running at 10 Gbps, so USB 3.0 devices operate at their native 5 Gbps speed.
The remote switches the active host instantly; the connected keyboard, mouse and other peripherals immediately respond to the newly selected computer.
