Classroom and office whiteboards

These EXPO dry-erase markers are designed for teachers, students and home organisers who write on magnetic whiteboards or other metal-backed surfaces. The four-count pack supplies enough black markers for daily lessons, planning boards or quick notes.

Thermals noise and power draw

As passive writing instruments the markers generate no heat, produce no sound and require no electrical power. The low-odour ink dries quickly on the board without any active cooling or energy consumption.

Magnetic caps and built-in erasers

Each marker cap contains an integrated magnet that holds the pen to the whiteboard frame or any ferrous surface, keeping the tip within reach. The eraser moulded into the cap allows immediate corrections without a separate tool.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the EXPO markers on a whiteboard so they stay put?

Each marker has an integrated magnet in the barrel that clings directly to any magnetic whiteboard or metal surface; the step users miss is letting the magnet seat flat instead of hanging the marker by its cap.

Which part will wear out first and need replacing on these markers?

The fine tips will fray or dry out before the ink reservoir empties, and the built-in cap erasers will lose their felt after heavy use; neither the magnet nor the barrel is serviceable.

At what point does the low-odor ink start to streak during a long writing session?

Streaking appears once the quick-dry formula sets on the tip — usually after several continuous metres of fine-line writing — and a quick cap shake restores flow.
