Suited for PoE edge deployments

This switch suits networks that need powered ports and 10G uplinks in a compact form factor. It works for environments using RADIUS, TACACS+ or SSH2 authentication. Buyers who need more than two 10G uplinks or a rackmount chassis should look at other models. The 103 W power budget also limits total PoE density.

Two 10G SFP+ uplinks decide fit

The two SFP+ ports provide the only 10 Gbps connectivity on the switch. All 24 copper ports operate at 10/100/1000 speeds. If your design requires more than two 10G links or dedicated SFP ports, this model will not meet that requirement. The shared SFP ports further reduce flexibility when both fibre types are needed.
