16-channel 5MP DVR with 4 TB storage
The Eyemax Prestige PVT Series records up to sixteen analogue cameras at 5 MP resolution using HD-TVI, CVI, AHD or 960H signals. A 4 TB hard drive is fitted as standard, giving local storage for continuous or scheduled recording. The unit is aimed at installers and small-business owners who need a single recorder for a multi-camera site. It does not suit buyers who require IP camera support or more than sixteen channels.
4 TB capacity and recording headroom
Four terabytes provides weeks of footage at moderate frame rates across sixteen channels before the oldest files are overwritten by the auto-deletion routine. Individual resolution, frame-rate and quality settings per channel let the installer balance detail against storage consumption. The recorder reaches its limit when all channels run at maximum 5 MP resolution and high frame rates simultaneously, reducing retention time accordingly.
Thermals, noise and power draw
The DVR uses a fan-cooled chassis designed for continuous operation in a rack or on a shelf. In normal use the fan runs at low speed, keeping noise at a level suitable for office or retail back-room placement. Power consumption stays within the range expected for a 16-channel analogue recorder with a single 4 TB drive, so no special electrical provision is required beyond a standard mains socket.

Questions about this item
Will this 16CH DVR record from my existing analog cameras that use HD-TVI, CVI, AHD or 960H signals?
Yes, the Prestige PVT Series 16CH DVR supports HD-TVI, CVI, AHD and 960H inputs, so it can record from cameras using any of those four signal types without needing to replace them.
How can I verify the recorder is capturing footage correctly after I connect the cameras?
Use the Instant Replay and Digital Zoom functions on the Full GUI with alpha blending, controlled by mouse, to review live or recorded video and confirm each of the 16 channels is recording at the chosen resolution and frame rate.
What comes in the box with the 4 TB DVR and what must I purchase separately?
The unit includes a pre-installed 4 TB hard drive for recording; you will need to supply the 16 cameras, coaxial cables, power supplies, a monitor or network connection for the Magic Viewer, and any PTZ devices that use RS-485 control.
