YU 8 Dynamic Microphone for Streaming

The YU 8 is a cardioid dynamic microphone built for gamers, streamers and podcasters who want studio-grade voice capture at a desktop. Its top-address capsule picks up speech clearly while rejecting off-axis noise. A 24-bit/48kHz converter and 50Hz-12kHz response keep vocals natural. The microphone is new and finished in white.

24-bit/48kHz Headroom and Echo Control

High-resolution 24-bit/48kHz conversion gives ample headroom for loud streams or quiet narration without digital clipping. The built-in Echo Volume Control lets you dial reverb from dry studio tone to immersive gaming ambience in real time. Cardioid pickup handles close-up voice work comfortably but will not capture room-filling group discussions.

USB and XLR Connectivity for Flexible Builds

Plug the Micro USB port straight into a PC or PS5/PS4 for instant plug-and-play operation, or run an XLR cable to a 48V mixer or interface for balanced, noise-free studio recording. The mic includes a desktop stand and mute button with a red glow indicator; an XLR cable is not supplied. Self-rotating RGB lighting syncs with your rig without extra software.

Questions about this item

Will the Facmogu Yu 8 work with my existing USB 2.0 ports and a separate audio interface that uses XLR?

Yes, the microphone connects via Micro USB for plug-and-play use on PC or PS5/PS4, and also provides an XLR output for balanced connection to 48 V phantom-powered mixers or interfaces; the XLR cable itself is not included.

How can I confirm the cardioid capsule is picking up my voice and rejecting room noise after I plug it in?

Speak directly into the top-addressed capsule while monitoring the input level; the cardioid pattern attenuates sound from the sides and rear, so background noise should drop noticeably compared to front speech.

Does the box include both the USB and XLR cables, or do I need to buy the XLR lead separately?

The package contains the microphone, a desktop stand and a Micro USB cable; an XLR cable is not supplied and must be purchased separately for mixer or interface use.
