Edge Trim for Cabinets and Panels

Fairchild 0317-50 edge trim is a black PVC profile supplied in a 50 ft length with a 3/8 in overall width. The double gripping finger design clamps onto edges without adhesive, providing a finished look and protection for raw panel perimeters.

Suits installers finishing 1/8 in panels

The profile accepts material thickness of .125 in, making it a direct fit for standard cabinet doors, mirror frames, golf-cart trim and similar sheet goods. Projects that require a different grip range, a wider face or a colour other than black will need an alternative profile.

Fits into assembly as a press-on detail

The trim presses on by hand and stays in place across a temperature span of -20 Degrees F to 150 Degrees F, so no fasteners, glue or curing time are required. It frees up assembly time otherwise spent on edge-banding or painting while covering sharp edges on metal, wood or composite panels.

Questions about this item

What material thickness does the 3/8 in edge trim accommodate?

The PVC trim is designed for material thickness of .125 in and features a double gripping finger profile that clamps onto edges of that size.

Will the 50 ft roll remain flexible when installed near equipment that reaches 150 Degrees F?

Yes, the PVC formulation is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 150 Degrees F and a minimum of -20 Degrees F, so it stays pliable across that range.

How can I confirm the double gripping finger profile is seated correctly after installation?

Run your finger along both sides of the installed trim; the two parallel fingers should sit flush against the top and bottom faces of the .125 in material with no visible gaps.
