FAIYOU F13 Mini WiFi Security Camera 1080P 140° 180 Day Standby

Mini Camera for Discreet Monitoring

The FAIYOU F13 is a compact security camera measuring 65X26X15mm and weighing 15mm, designed for indoor home safety. It connects via Wi-Fi using IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless protocol, allowing remote real-time viewing and playback through the JXLCAM app. The device suits users who want a small, battery-powered unit for occasional monitoring rather than continuous recording.

Interface Limits of Wi-Fi b/g

Wireless transmission relies on the 802.11 b/g standard, which caps throughput well below modern Wi-Fi speeds and can struggle with congestion on busy networks. The camera supports AP connection for direct phone linking and IP remote watching, but video quality may drop if the signal weakens or multiple devices share the same channel. Cloud and local storage options are available, yet upload bandwidth remains constrained by the legacy interface.

Capacity and Headroom for Short Sessions

A 650mAh lithium battery powers the camera for about three hours of normal video work, while PIR body sensing extends standby to 180 days. The 140° wide-angle lens with 2.8mm focal length covers a broad area at 1080P or 720P resolution, and night vision uses 940 infrared light for 0 Lux visibility. Micro SD cards up to 128G store footage, but the small battery makes long continuous recording impractical.
