Satellite signal meter with 3.5" display

The Famisym WS-6906 is a portable DVB-S satellite finder designed to help installers align dishes and view free-to-air channels on a 3.5 inch LCD screen. It operates on an 8.4 V 3000 mAh lithium-ion battery or AC 100-240 V mains power. The unit includes AV in and out connections, a protective bag and a car charger for field use.

This meter suits technicians who need a handheld device to locate satellite signals between 950 MHz and 2150 MHz and to monitor bit error rate and carrier-to-noise readings on site. It is not for users who require high-definition decoding or recording functions, nor for buyers needing a fixed indoor receiver with network connectivity.

Frequency range 950 MHz to 2150 MHz

The input frequency range of 950 MHz to 2150 MHz determines which satellite bands the finder can scan. Symbol rate support spans 2 Mbps to 45 Mbps and the LNB supply delivers 13 V or 18 V at up to 400 mA with 22 kHz tone switching.

Yes, the finder supplies 13/18V selectable voltage with a 400mA maximum current for the connected LNB.

How can I confirm the WS-6906 has locked onto a satellite signal during dish alignment?

The 3.5-inch LCD shows a sound warning prompt, bit error rate readout and carrier-to-noise readout when the satellite is locked.
