Simple Satellite Radio Kit

The SiriusXM Onyx EZR with Vehicle Kit provides a complete DIY installation package for satellite radio in a car. It includes the radio, a vehicle dock, mounting hardware, a power adapter and a magnetic-mount antenna with aux-in cable. A subscription is required to access the service. This kit suits drivers who want a straightforward way to add satellite radio without professional installation.

Channel Limits and Display

The service delivers 165 channels of ad-free music plus sports, news, talk and comedy content. The radio can store only 10 favourite channels and uses TuneMix to blend selected stations. Information appears on a 3.2 high-resolution display that offers split-screen viewing and two colour themes. Alerts for favourite songs, artists or teams are supported but depend on the active subscription plan.

Check Your Vehicle Setup

Verify that your vehicle stereo has an auxiliary input to connect the supplied aux-in cable for audio output. Ensure there is a suitable dashboard or vent location for the included mount and clamps. Confirm you can route the magnetic antenna cable to the exterior roof for optimal signal reception. An active SiriusXM All Access subscription must be purchased separately before the radio will function.
