Industrial AC case fan
The SUNON DP200A 2123 series is a 120 mm square, 38 mm thick axial fan that runs directly from 220–240 V AC mains. It delivers 15–20 CFM of airflow at 2600–2900 RPM while drawing 0.14 A and 21–23 W. The oil-bearing shaft is rated for continuous operation up to 40 °C ambient.
Replaces legacy 12038 AC fans
This unit fits the same 12038 cut-out and voltage range as older 220 V AC case or chassis fans used in industrial enclosures, medical gear and rail equipment. The upgrade is worth it when the existing fan has seized bearings, excessive noise or reduced airflow below the 2.58–3.15 m³/min specification.
Verify mains wiring and mounting
Confirm the supply stays within 185–245 V AC and that the chassis can accommodate a 38 mm depth with 120 mm hole spacing. The fan weighs 550 g and requires a grounded connection rated for 1500 V withstand; no external DC supply or PWM header is used.

Questions about this item
What are the mounting hole dimensions for the 12038 frame?
The fan uses a standard 120 mm square frame with a 38 mm thickness. Mounting holes align with typical 120 mm case fan patterns.
How do I wire the 220 V AC leads correctly?
Connect the two supply wires to a 220–240 V AC mains circuit rated for at least 0.14 A. Observe polarity if marked; the fan runs at 50/60 Hz.
When should I replace the oil-bearing fan?
The oil bearing is rated for continuous operation at up to 40 °C ambient. Expect replacement when noise increases or speed drops below 2600 RPM.
