Thermals and Power Draw

The fan spins to move air across the heatsink, lowering CPU temperatures during normal workloads. Power is drawn from the laptop's motherboard header at standard notebook voltages. Acoustic output stays within typical levels for a slim-line cooling assembly. No external power adapter is required.

Questions about this item

How is the AB6905HB-E03 fan installed in an Acer Aspire 5735, and what step is often missed?

Remove the keyboard and palm rest to access the heatsink, disconnect the old 3-pin connector, then fit the new fan. People often forget to reapply thermal paste on the CPU before reassembly.

What maintenance will the CWCP2 cooler need after fitting?

Clean dust from the intake vents and fan blades every six months using compressed air. The sleeve bearing is not user-lubricable; if the fan becomes noisy or stops spinning, replace the whole unit.
