Verify Discrete Graphics And Part Number

Confirm your laptop uses discrete graphics rather than integrated graphics before ordering. Cross-reference the part numbers 04Y1366 and 00JT207 against your service manual or the label on the original heatsink. The cooler also references compatible codes DFS532305M30T(FC90) and DFS532305M30T(FC92) for additional validation.

Sustained Cooling For Discrete GPU Workloads

The heatsink assembly is designed to manage continuous thermal output from both the CPU and discrete graphics chip during extended sessions. It maintains stable airflow across the fin stack to prevent throttling when the system runs at high load for long periods. The unit is rated for six months of regular operation.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy thermal paste or mounting hardware separately?

The package contains the CPU fan and heatsink assembly for discrete-graphics models; thermal compound and any extra screws are not included and must be sourced separately.

How do I choose between the 04Y1366 and 00JT207 part numbers for my ThinkPad E431, E440, E531 or E540?

Both codes refer to the same discrete-graphics heatsink; verify the FRU label on your existing cooler matches either 04Y1366 or 00JT207 before ordering.

What does the 6-month feature period mean once the cooler is installed in the laptop?

It indicates the supplier’s functional coverage window — the fan and heatsink are expected to operate without defect for six months under normal use.
