5 V micro cooling fan

The MF15B-05 is a 15 mm square micro fan designed for tight server chassis and accessory cooling. It runs on a 5 V supply and draws only 0.06 A. The unit measures 15 x 15 x 5 mm and uses a two-wire lead for power. Supplied in 100-piece packs for volume integration.

Simple two-wire installation

Connection is made by attaching the two leads to a 5 V source; no connector or PWM header is present. Polarity must be observed to avoid damage. The 5 mm thickness limits airflow, so the fan suits spot cooling rather than high-heat components. Buyers needing higher static pressure or variable speed control should select a different model.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the MF15B-05 fan is spinning correctly after connecting the two leads to a 5 V supply?

Apply 5 V to the two leads; the fan should draw about 0.06 A and spin smoothly without vibration or noise.

The listing mentions 100 pieces — does that mean 100 individual fans, and are mounting screws or connectors included?

The pack contains 100 individual MF15B-05 fans; each unit has two bare wire leads only, so mounting hardware and any connectors must be sourced separately.
