Single-phase shaded-pole motor delivers 1/15 hp at 1550 or 1300 rpm with stud mounting for HVAC applications
The FASCO D1126 is a single-phase shaded-pole motor rated at 1/15 HP with nameplate speeds of 1550 and 1300 RPM. It operates on 208-230V AC at 60 Hz and draws 1.1 A at full load. The unit suits technicians replacing OEM motors in residential or light-commercial air-handling equipment.
Installation uses the integrated stud pattern on a 3.3 frame steel body, aligning with common OEM mounting points. The open air-over enclosure requires airflow from the driven fan for cooling, so verify the original housing provides that path. Auto-reset thermal protection and Class B insulation simplify wiring without external overload devices.
The motor delivers 50 W output with a 1.0 service factor, meaning it runs at nameplate load continuously in ambients up to 40 °C. It is usable at 208 V but not at 200 V, so confirm supply voltage before commissioning. Clockwise shaft rotation viewed from the shaft end is fixed and cannot be reversed in the field.

Verify the motor spins clockwise from the shaft end and draws approximately 1.1 amps at 208-230V AC; the auto thermal protection will trip if it overheats above 40°C ambient.
The motor includes the steel frame, stud mounting, and 1/15 HP shaded-pole winding; you must provide the 208-230V AC power supply, wiring, and any fan blade or driven load.
The nameplate lists 1550 RPM at 60 Hz; the 1300 RPM figure is a secondary speed reference, so select this single-speed model for standard 60 Hz operation.
