Motor Specifications

This FASCO D601 is a shaded-pole fan and blower motor rated at 1/50 hp with a nameplate speed of 1500 rpm. It operates on 115V AC single-phase power at 60 Hz and draws 0.9 A at full load. The motor delivers 10 W output and uses a 3.3 frame size.

Installation Requirements

The totally enclosed air-over enclosure requires airflow from the driven fan for cooling and must operate within a 40 °C maximum ambient temperature. A CCWSE shaft rotation and stud mounting pattern are built in, so the driven component and mounting surface must match this orientation. Auto thermal protection and Class B insulation are integrated, and the motor is not usable at 200 V or 208 V.

Target Applications

This accessory suits maintenance technicians replacing an exact-match HVAC motor in residential or light-commercial equipment that specifies a 1/50 hp, 115 V shaded-pole unit with a 3.3 frame. It does not suit installers who need multi-speed operation, reversible rotation, higher horsepower, or compatibility with 200 V and 208 V supplies.
