15-Degree Wire Coil Nails

FASCO SCWC713FVEG pneumatic nails come in a 2000-count box for high-volume fastening. The 15-degree wire coil feeds smoothly into compatible coil nailers on framing and sheathing jobs.

Electro-galvanized corrosion resistance

Electro-galvanized coating protects the 2.25-inch shank against rust during normal exterior exposure. The .113-inch diameter drives cleanly without excessive splitting in dimensional lumber.

Upgrade from loose hand-driven nails

This coil replaces bulk loose nails for crews who need faster reload cycles on repetitive wall and roof assemblies. The jump is worth it when daily shot counts make hand nailing impractical.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 15-degree wire coil into my pneumatic nailer correctly?

Align the coil so the nails feed at the 15-degree angle matching the tool's magazine; the step most people miss is seating the first nail fully against the driver blade before firing.

Will the electro-galvanized finish on these 2.25-inch nails hold up outdoors?

The electro-galvanized coating resists corrosion for interior and light exterior use; for constant moisture or treated lumber, hot-dip galvanized or stainless nails are the longer-lasting choice.

At what point does the .113-inch shank diameter start to bend during rapid firing?

The .113 shank handles normal framing density; bending appears first when driving into knots, hardened plates, or when the tool pressure exceeds the nail's column strength.
