Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the FCS STRUTS 86659 lift support hood and what must be bought separately?

The package includes the transparent lift support hood itself; mounting hardware and any vehicle-specific brackets are not included and must be sourced separately.

Which version of the 86659 lift support hood should I choose for my vehicle?

Only one version is offered — the transparent 86659 model — so select it if the part number matches your hood application.

What does the transparent colour mean once the 86659 lift support is installed on the car?

The transparent finish lets you see the internal gas-spring mechanism while the strut holds the hood open at the factory-specified height.
