Bright outdoor monitoring

The Feelworld LUT6S is a 6-inch field monitor built for camera operators who need accurate exposure and focus confirmation in direct sunlight. Its 2600nits backlight and optically bonded anti-reflective glass keep the image visible without a sunshade. The 1920x1080 IPS panel covers the sRGB/Rec.709 colour gamut for reliable colour judgement on set.

Sustained brightness management

An internal fan activates automatically when the backlight exceeds 80 to dissipate heat during prolonged high-brightness use. This thermal design maintains consistent 2600nits output and a stable 1000:1 contrast ratio across long shooting days. The monitor accepts 4K HDMI and 3G-SDI signals, passing them through via loop-out for simultaneous recording or director feeds.

2600nits daylight readability

The single specification that determines suitability is the 2600nits peak brightness; operators working primarily in controlled studio lighting or dim environments will not require this level of output. Buyers who need a monitor for low-light focus pulling or indoor colour grading should consider lower-brightness alternatives. The package includes a tilt arm and mini/micro HDMI cable, while battery and power supply are sold separately.

Questions about this item

How loud does the built-in fan run when the backlight is set above 80 during all-day outdoor shoots?

The fan activates automatically once brightness exceeds 80 and is designed to dissipate heat continuously during extended use.

Which power source do I need to supply myself because it is not in the box?

A compatible battery and power cord are not included, so you must provide your own.

Will the 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI connections work with my older camera that only outputs 1080?

Yes, the monitor accepts 1920x1080 signals over both 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI, so it is compatible with 1080 sources.
