Metal Base for Archive Files

The Fellowes 12602 metal base raises Staxonsteel 511 and High-Stak 45 archive boxes off the floor. It is designed for offices that store letter-size documents in these specific filing systems. The base protects stored files from low-level impacts, cleaning equipment and minor water contact on the floor.

Compatibility and Protection Limits

The base fits Staxonsteel 511 and High-Stak 45 units precisely. It provides a barrier against kicks, wheeled cleaning tools and casual spills at floor level. It does not seal the box against immersion or heavy flooding, nor does it fit other archive box models or sizes.

Integration into Filing Systems

The base sits directly under a compatible Staxonsteel 511 or High-Stak 45 box, adding height without changing the footprint. It requires no tools or fasteners for installation. By elevating the archive box, it frees the bottom of the container from direct contact with damp or dirty floors.
