Instant Assembly Letter Box

The Fellowes 63101 Bankers Box Presto is a letter-size storage box designed for offices that need to archive files quickly. It ships flat and assembles by pushing the corners together, so no tape or tools are required. Each carton contains twelve white and blue corrugated boxes with lift-off lids.

750 lb Stacking Strength

Double-wall construction on the ends, sides and bottom gives each box a tested stacking strength of 750 lbs, allowing multiple loaded boxes to sit securely on shelves. Reinforced tear-resistant handles stay intact when the box is lifted at capacity. The deep locking lid remains in place during stacking and transport.

Replaces Taped Cartons

This product replaces standard file boxes that require tape and separate lid assembly, cutting setup time for bulk archiving projects. It is not suited for environments that need waterproof or fire-rated protection, or for legal-size documents that exceed the 12-inch interior width.

Questions about this item

How much weight can a stack of these 750-lb-rated boxes safely hold when stored long-term?

Each box is rated for 750 lbs stacking strength, so a vertical column of them can support that load on the bottom unit without crushing the corrugated walls.

What shelf depth do I need to fit the 25.38-inch outside length of the assembled box?

Allow at least 25.38 inches of clear shelf depth; the outside dimensions are 10.50 x 13.00 x 25.38 inches and the lift-off lid adds no extra length.

Will letter-size hanging folders fit inside the 12.00 x 24.00-inch interior without bending?

Yes — the inside dimensions are 10.00 x 12.00 x 24.00 inches, matching standard letter-size folder width and length exactly.
