Underdesk keyboard drawer

The Fellowes 9140303 is a height-adjustable keyboard drawer that mounts beneath a desk to free up surface area. It holds a standard keyboard and includes a mouse tray that can be fixed on either side or tucked underneath. The unit is made from 100 percent recycled materials and arrives fully assembled. A sturdy, impact-resistant tray supports daily typing and pointing tasks.

Suits users wanting more desk space.

Workers who need a clutter-free desktop and prefer a fixed seated height will benefit from the three preset positions of 1.75, 2.13 and 2.50 inches below the worksurface. The drawer requires a 23.50 inch wide clearance for installation, so narrower desks or height-adjustable frames that change clearance dynamically are not a good match. Buyers who want a tilt mechanism or a taller range of motion should look at other solutions.

Three height settings define the working posture

The only adjustments are the three discrete height stops measured from the underside of the desk. Choose the drawer if those fixed positions match your ergonomic needs; otherwise a different mounting system will be required.

Questions about this item

Does the sliding drawer bracket or height-adjustment mechanism need lubrication or replacement over time?

The unit has no moving parts that require lubrication; the sliding drawer bracket and three fixed height settings (1.75", 2.13", 2.50" below desk) are designed for the product's lifetime.

What is the first limitation when the tray is used continuously with a full-size keyboard and mouse?

The 22" wide tray holds a standard keyboard, but the 11.6" depth leaves little palm-rest space, so wrist comfort becomes the limiting factor during all-day typing.

Does the drawer rattle or transmit desk vibration when typing all day?

The 3.90 lb, 100% recycled tray is sturdy and impact-resistant, so it stays stable on the sliding bracket without noticeable rattle or vibration transfer.
