What this thermometer does

This smart basal body thermometer measures temperature to 0.05 °C or 0.09 °F accuracy and syncs the reading to the Femometer app via Bluetooth. The app builds an automatic BBT curve, tracks periods and flags the fertile window for people who are trying to conceive or using natural birth control. It also works as a regular fever thermometer for everyday home use.

Moving from a basic thermometer

A standard digital thermometer only shows the current reading and leaves charting to you. This device removes the manual step by storing unlimited records in the cloud and generating the ovulation chart automatically. The jump is worth it if you want daily BBT trends without writing numbers down each morning.

Check before ordering

You will need a compatible smartphone to download the Femometer app and pair the thermometer over Bluetooth. The device shows LO when the ambient temperature is below 32 °C, which is normal and not a low-battery warning. No buttons are on the unit; you open or close the lid to start or stop a measurement.

Questions about this item

What size and shape is the thermometer so I know if it fits in my bag?

It has a lipstick-shaped body in purple, designed to be discreet and easy to carry in a purse or pocket.

How do I turn it on and pair it with the app for the first time?

Pull the lid up to power on, download the Femometer APP, enable Bluetooth on your phone, and follow the in-app pairing steps to connect the device.

When should I replace the battery and how will I know?

The display shows LO when the ambient temperature is below 32°C; this does not mean the battery is low, so replace the cell only when readings fail to appear.
