- Four-adapter set covers USB-C male, USB-A male, USB-C female and USB-A female configurations
- Works with most generic PS/2-enabled mice and keyboards that include a controller chip
- Not hot-swappable; power down and restart computer after connecting for reliable operation
Four-adapter PS/2 set
This Fervit set supplies four adapters that bridge PS/2 and USB interfaces in both directions. It covers USB-C male to PS/2 female, USB-A male to PS/2 female, USB-C female to PS/2 male and USB-A female to PS/2 male. The pack is sold only as a complete lot.
Sustained connection behaviour
The adapters are not hot-swappable, so the host computer must be powered off before any connection is made. A restart is required after plugging in, and a second restart can resolve an unresponsive middle mouse button. This makes the set suited to permanent or semi-permanent installations rather than frequent reconfiguration.
Chip-dependent PS/2 compatibility
Compatibility relies on the peripheral having an onboard chip; generic PS/2 mice and keyboards usually work, but chip-less devices will not function. Buyers who need to adapt chip-less legacy hardware should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
Do the adapters draw extra power or generate heat when used continuously?
The passive adapters carry only the low-voltage PS/2 and USB 2.0 signals, so they add no measurable heat or power draw during all-day use.
What must my keyboard or mouse already support for these adapters to work?
Each device needs a built-in PS/2-to-USB or USB-to-PS/2 chip; purely mechanical PS/2 peripherals without that chip will not function.
Will the USB-C male-to-PS/2 female adapter work with a legacy PS/2 KVM switch I still use?
Yes, the USB-C male end plugs into the host computer and the PS/2 female end accepts the KVM's PS/2 cables, but the computer must be powered off before connecting and restarted afterward.
