HDMI to USB-C Female Adapter

This adapter cable connects an HDMI source to a USB-C display port. It supports unidirectional signal transmission from HDMI male to USB-C female for portable monitors, laptops and projectors. The USB-A power port draws power from a computer or wall charger for operation. No drivers or software installation are required.

Suited for AR glasses and portable screens

First-generation AR glasses such as Xreal Air, Rokid Air and Rayneo Air work with this adapter. It also supports portable screens with touch operation and audio-video sync. VR devices are not compatible and second-generation AR glasses may not work. Buyers needing reverse USB-C to HDMI transmission should look elsewhere.

4K@60Hz and 1080p@144Hz resolution support

The cable delivers 4K resolution at 60Hz with backward compatibility for 2K and 1080p at 144Hz. Audio and video transmit synchronously with zero latency for gaming and watching. This specification determines if the adapter meets your display requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the cable include a separate power adapter or must I supply a USB-A power source?

The adapter has a built-in USB-A power plug; you must connect it to a computer USB port or a wall charger — no separate power brick is included.

Which resolution and refresh-rate combination should I pick for a portable monitor that supports 2K at high refresh?

The cable is rated for 4K at 60 Hz and backward compatible with 2K at 144 Hz and 1080p at 144 Hz; choose the highest mode your monitor and source both support.

Will 4K at 60 Hz actually work when I plug this into a laptop driving AR glasses?

Yes — the adapter delivers 4K at 60 Hz from an HDMI source to a USB-C display such as first-generation AR glasses or a portable monitor, provided the source can output that mode.
